Bio Jeffrey Lord, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained expert in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. A decorated veteran of the United States Navy, Dr. Lord has held numerous leadership roles in both military and hospital settings, most recently serving as director of bariatrics and MIS surgery at the Sacred Heart Institute for Surgical Weight Loss, part of Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Florida. Dr. Lord also serves as president of Bariatric Consulting Group and recently worked as a physician with North Florida Surgeons. He is widely recognized for his expertise in laparoscopic surgery and has published extensively on topics ranging from bariatric procedures to surgical education and outcomes. Dr. Lord received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Affiliations
