Maternity Unit Tours
Join us for a tour of our maternity unit and see where you’ll have your baby. Our charge nurses lead each tour, so you’ll hear directly from the people who care for families every day.
Tours are offered:
- Sundays: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Mondays: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
During the tour, we’ll walk you through what to expect when you arrive and during your stay. We’ll talk about pain management options, visitor guidelines, where to park, and where to go when you get here.
You’re welcome to bring your birthing partner. We ask that children do not attend the tour to respect the care environment.
There’s time to ask questions, and we shape each tour based on what families want to know. Our goal is to help you feel ready, answer questions, and know what to expect on delivery day.

Elective Induction Instructions
Your provider has scheduled an elective induction of labor and we are happy you chose Lawrence Hospital for your care during this exciting time. For us to provide safe, effective care to all our patients, we ask that you call our Labor and Delivery unit on the morning of your elective induction prior to leaving home.
Sometimes, we have many patients in labor and need to reschedule elective procedures. If we need to do this, we will reschedule you while you are on the phone. We will also let your provider know.
