Supporting cardiac care at Lawrence Hospital
When a heart emergency happens, every minute matters. Lawrence Hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab provides lifesaving care for people experiencing heart attacks and other serious heart conditions. Advanced imaging technology and expanded capabilities help our team diagnose and treat these conditions and provide critical cardiac care close to home.
Significant enhancements to the Cath Lab were made possible through $1 million in federal Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending award, secured through the Massachusetts congressional delegration. Lawrence Hospital's Cath Lab was one of only 15 projects across the Third Congressional District selected by Congresswoman Trahan, Senator Ed Markey and Senator Elizabeth Warren to support local servcies.
These advancements were also supported by the generosity of donors whose contributions help strengthen this vital service for our community:
- Telemachus + Irene Demoulas Family Foundation
- Digital Federal Credit Union
- Dr. Mustali Dohadwala
- Dr. Eduardo Haddad
- Robert and Annie Gilbert
- Debra Silberstein, Esq.
- Trustees of The Ray and Elaclaire Gosselin Charitable Trust
- Rogers Family Foundation
- The Stevens Foundations
We are grateful to these supporters for investing in advanced cardiac care locally.
