What is an X-ray?
An X-ray uses small amounts of radiation to create images of the inside of the body. It is a quick and common imaging test.
Our Imaging Department uses advanced digital technology to produce high-quality images. These images are sent directly to radiologists for review using secure digital systems.
This helps reduce wait times, limits time in the imaging room and supports lower radiation exposure.
Results are shared quickly with your care team so treatment can begin sooner if needed.
What types of X-ray exams are available?
- Routine X-rays (chest, abdomen, extremities, spine)
- Gastrointestinal X-rays (barium swallow, upper GI series, small bowel, barium enema)
- VCUG (voiding cystourethrogram)
- Arthrograms
